From Tartan To Dogtooth it seems that the envy that I have for the many styles that my parents were lucky enough to experience first hand continues to grow by the day. The idea to bring back these statement trends is truly ingenious and what better way to guarantee success then bringing back a style that was admired by millions Worldwide and already has a pretty large fan base. I will not lie to you when I first discovered this unfamiliar fuzzy print I was skeptical about how easy it was going to be to put outfits together using this out pretty bold material. However! After searching the stores and coming across the print on every trip I decided maybe it's better to dress yourself in a style that you're not used to, and boy am I glad that I did!
From ASOS to TOPSHOP this brought back style is a favourite and is being used in the form of suits, trousers and T-shirts! After browsing through one of my favorite online stores www.missguided.co.uk (I'm not kidding my wardrobe is about 70% Missguided)
I spotted this lilac strapped cropped top and automatically fell in love, with the weather being less than inspiring lately it is increasingly easy to find yourself in the routine of searching for the darkest colour and chucking it on without any thought, so with a color as adorable as lilac I felt the possibilities were endless for where I could take this. White high waisted trousers, leather pants PVC!!
In the below Image (Yes more amateur photography) I teamed it with a River Island Chain and H&M Leather Pants (What a buy! For those of you like me that tend to have been dealt a misfortune in the booty area these I'm not sure what to call them act as an up lifter and shaper Hallelujah!) Whilst the image does not do the beautiful spring color any justice I hope you get the idea.

I'm planning to wear this outfit for the Drake concert that I am attending in less than a month (My excitement is through the roof!) although I'm not sure how my choice of heels will go down, my ability to get down may be seriously effected if I go with my first choice and end up with no feeling whatsoever in my feet. However I'm sure nearer to the date I will decide on a safer option as the idea of comfortable feet will outweigh the unlikely possibility that Drake discovers me in the crowd simply because he adores my shoes choice.
You know the temptation to rock an outfit before the occasion but the thought of being caught is too risky? (Ummhm you can see my dilemma! I'll be sure to update you on my outfit of choice on the date, Happy Wednesday everyone.x

Clunk Clunk Clunk!

With the focus being firmly placed on grunge it seems not unlike myself many all around the word are embracing our inner dark side and doing everything within our power to pull off this bad ass looking that I'm finding pretty hard to pull off! The chunky sandals are really doing it for me, and these metallic River Island beauties are just what I've been searching for. I know I'm enjoying the opportunity to be a lot more edgier in the way I'm dressing, and this way of dressing for the moment is so well suited to the current English weather epidemic! What I'm finding out as I begin to learn more about the best bloggers and the most stylish is you have to wear what you feel comforable in, and for blogging you need to be yourself and be honest in your views.
