My first Internship

Last Friday was my final day of my 2 month Internship, and I think it's safe to mention the company and all that malarky now. I was lucky enough to intern at MLPR which has a range of high end and high street fashion clients, I learnt a ridiculous amount and I was lucky enough to be working within a great team!
If any of you have ever even thought of interning I can't put into words how much I recommend that you take the leap of faith and just start applying for some positions that look like they might be of interest to you. Just to see what reaction you recieve and you've got nothing to lose right?! The great thing about internships aside from the on the job experience is that you can do as many as you like, as the majority of internships range from 1-3 months you have the trial period to see if it might be something that you want to follow through with. If not you can simply move onto the next, sounding fun yet?! Yes some may be tea making, or delivering around London roles but we all have to start somewhere! (As I'm just learning myself)
Overall It was a fantastic experience and I feel confident that having completed an internship will look fab to employers when I being applying again in January. And yes I think it is safe to say that the PR life is as glam as I imagined, I was lucky enough to meet Rosie Fortescue and 5 Inch&Up Blogger Sandra Hagelstam who is just as stunning in real life might I mention, and so humble!
When people ask me how did you get up and out of the house every morning that you wasn't getting paid, I simply laugh as I genuinely have no answer. These decisions are what defines you and there was something in side of me each morning that motivated me to get my ass up and over to the office. I was lucky enough to be paid travel and lunch expenses which is a rare treat, so thank you MLPR! Money is easily made but these experiences can be invaluable, and as so many of us are fighting for them It would be ridiculous for me to drop out for something so insignificant as money.
If you have any questions please do not hesistate to contact me, we can do this guys:)

Happy Wednesday:)
